Overview

Three things are critical to the success of a data storage medium: economy, ease of use, and reliability. This collection of articles addresses the last of those issues. We examine what reliability of media means, and how it can be evaluated, along with some discussion of the reasons why media testing has not been widely practiced in this field so far.
